I was not able to camp there as the road was closed due to the fires. I expect a full refund please.

We have been coming to Warm Lake since our children were young, probably 35 years. This was our worst experience at Warm Lake and our worst experience camping anywhere in that time. Our two sets of neighbors right across the road from us were loud, one group until 1:30am. That group decided they needed to chop wood at 5:00 both mornings. Who does that while camping in Idaho??? While the camp host talked to both groups, it didnt help with the wood choppers. And since the host retired at 9:30 and never made rounds again, they were unaware. Tattling on neighbors is not fun. However, the host was very helpful, as was the lodge, when the car battery died and we needed to be towed.

Beautiful area, even in the rainy weather. Camp hosts were friendly, and the the outhouses were clean and well stocked.

Great location and clean paved sites with sand for tents and fire pits. Can ride in and out on ATV's and dirt bikes. Plenty of space between most sites. The Shorline Lodge is convenient if you need basic items. Lake access is great. Lots of trails/roads to ride/walk/hike/bike. Close to hot springs. Stolle Meadows a short couple miles with Salmon Watching platform (July-Aug best times to view Chinook Salmon spawning) There are remote camping sites around Stolle Meadows. I always enjoy my time at Warm Lake and surrounding areas. Can expect to see deer, black bear and the occasional moose. Camp hosts are always great. Bathrooms always clean. Can get very busy in the summer when school is out. Especially weekends. Overall great site and area.

We love Warm Lake and Shoreline campground. Rich and Andrea are amazing as camp hosts and we LOVED getting to know them. Super helpful with any situation and we appreciated how clean the facilities were. We will come back more often because of how they were so attentive to every camper's needs, not just ours when we asked. The only negative I can come up with is the boat launch ramp is in need of SERIOUS repair!!! We have had two tires need to be fixed on my boat trailer because of that ramp. People have tried to move rocks and slabs to put in the ruts because of it's disrepair and that has probably made the situation worse and harder on tires! Please fix it!!!!!

This campground is great - beautiful lake, hiking, biking, atving, with the added bonus of a restaurant with good food, drinks and service close by. The reason for my low rating is due to the camp hosts being awful. Our first interaction was a warning that if we went over the 5 mile an hour speed limit, she would throw rocks and sticks at us. Possibly an attempt at humor, but still not a very warm welcome. Second, we were reprimanded for our truck tire off of the pavement, which followed shortly by another for having our four wheeler off of the pavement - which is contradictory of the 2 utility trailers they had parked off of the pavement at the host site. The guests next to us got harassed for their music so much they packed up and left a day early - their music wasn't even up that loud. I understand rules are in place for a reason, but the manner in which this lady spoke to people was rude and uncalled for. Aside from them, the property is awesome.

A very clean and generally quiet campground. Some excessive generator use creates noise throughout the campground at times. Location is across the road from the lakes launch ramp and near two lodges. Campground has clean restrooms and potable water facilities. Pads are asphalt, tent spaces are adjacent and compacted soil/sand. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and a useful food prep table that one can put a small bbq on and the tools needed to prepare a meal. The campground has a host who is active in managing the site reservations and grounds. There is a volleyball area and a very useful and large overflow parking area. Checkout time is 1pm and check in is 2pm. Note that there is absolutely no cellular coverage, no radio or tv signals at the campground. But, the location is pleasant to spend time at - youre boondocking in comfort at a developed site.

Our family really enjoyed this camp ground and the lake was beautiful. The kids enjoyed the swimming and we used our paddleboards everyday. The only draw back to this site is the campground managers. This couple is anything but friendly. The first day we were there the boys were riding their dirt bikes slowly around the circle. I can completely understand why they talked to the kids and asked them to ride somewhere else but the wife screamed at the kids and said if she sees them do it again, she would take there bikes and keep them until we left. What?????? We saw her yelling at so many families. Typically the people that manage these sites are the nicest people. But this lady earned the name Karen by the time we left.

Saturday was the BUSIEST night I've ever seen at a campground. Wedding at the lodge nearby, hundreds of church kids, obnoxious 2-stroke moto dudes riding their dirt bikes to the bathroom. Sunday was nice though. Lake is beautiful and, as they say, quite warm. Hosts were great but they were no match for the holy rollers.

Actually the problem was that on the recreation.gov site a camp site at Warm Lake Idaho was shown as FF for one night and available to reserve for the following 2 nights. Because I made a reservation for that site less than 24 hours of occupying the site, I understood that we would not be able to reserve that first night but FF usually means first come first serve. I was successful in reserving the following two nights. Since recreation.gov had designated the first night as FF we thought we would get there by check in time that first day and if no one had taken it we could pay for the FF night and then be in place for our reservation the next day. The camp hostess was very adamant that we could not as that site was never a FF so we camped one night else where and then came back for our reservation the next day. The site was empty that first night and no revenue was made. Recreation.gov should mark these kinds of sites were they become un-reserveable as NR (not reserveable) and not FF so this kind of misunderstanding does not occur.

The campgrounds were beautifully kept, it was a convenient walk to the lake, the bathrooms were incredibly clean, and everyone in the area was very kind. People were very respectful of quiet hours, though the amount of side by sides constantly driving around was surprising. I haven’t camped in a long time though, so it wasn’t something I was expecting, but it’s probably pretty normal these days. A good thing to note though, is that there is no cell phone service. Overall a very pleasant experience!

Very nice camp hosts. Pretty location with clean campsites and vault toilets/water access. No complaints there. Many RVs so it was a bit loud at times. Good place to unplug as there was no cell service for miles around. North Lodge sells anything you might need but buy your firewood in Cascade, it's cheaper.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
