Very quiet campground; most sites are large enough for a camper and tent. Host was extremely helpful; helped me secure a FCFS site for the amount of days I needed. Vault toilets and trash cans are serviced daily. The grounds could use a little manicure, but it is the woods.

We loved this site. Right next to the water, great secluded space. We will be back.

Not sure what's going on with the National Forests/Parks lately, but they need to do something about sites being reserved and unoccupied.

Campsites are well spaced out and right next to the lake. We went in August and the water was a little lower but the beach area was huge. The kids had a blast playing in sand! We went on a busy weekend too but there was hardly anyone else on the beach!

Nice little spot right by Tamarack. There's a little foot trail by the bathroom near the lake that goes down to the beach. My kids (8 and 6) had fun on it. The campsite itself was fair. Kinda small but spaced out from neighbors. Morning sun until about noon then some shade started creeping in. Bathroom was not too far of a walk and the water spigot was close - I wasn't sure about drinkability, but it was good for hauling water to drown the campfire and wash some dishes in.

This is a quiet campground in a natural setting, close to Lake Cascade. We enjoyed your stay and appreciated the surroundings. There was a water tap available close by, along with a garbage bin and a handy vault toilet. The camp sites are not too close together, so there is a measure of privacy depending on which site you stay at.

Very helpful hosts

There was a huge forest fire near us so the smoke was terrible and the lake was mostly drained. I tried to shorten my reservation by one day but I was denied that option so we just left a day early and lost the $15 daily rate. The location is very beautiful nonetheless.

Jim, the camp host, was excellent and probably the most hospitable and generous host I can remember. Our experience was excellent.

We arrived a day early and were able to secure the same site for 2 nights. The host was very nice. The campground clean and quiet. Beautiful area and lots of room between sites. Would highly recommend this campground and will definitely camp here again if we are in the area.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
