Alpine Ridge Campground, Arkadelphia, AR

Alpine Ridge Campground in Clark county is located 1 hr 2 min southwest of Hot Springs, AR with an elevation of 407 feet. There are a total of 48 campsites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of March to the end of November. Sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 41 and 66 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. All sites have electric and water hookups. There is a fee of $20.00 per night. Some amenities include shower, dump station, playground, boat ramp, swimming, flush toilets. Activities include boating, fishing, floating sports.

nice campground on a beautiful lake. Showers work reasonably well and facilities pretty clean.

You know I my wife and I along with our golden retrievers love site 44. Even though its one of the older sites and needs some real help with a tricky drop off from the asphalt and exposed tree roots. Would love to see it renovated as many of the other sites have been. Thank you for the consideration.

The park was beautiful and well kept. However we didnt see the park host while we were there. And with it being our first time there, figuring out the layout of the campground was a challenge for older folks.

I could only stay one night, as I was just passing thru. This was a solo motorcycle trip, so I was tent camping. Was really impressed with the bathroom facilities; they were new, very clean and fully stocked - even with hand soap and paper towels. The park host was very accommodating - he even loaned me his folding camp chair.The only negative was the chiggers/ redbugs. My legs were really eaten up!Beautiful wooded area, quiet and peaceful.

Campsites are very close together. Not much privacy and people walking through your paid campsite all the time.

The camp was clean, I love the bathroom and showers that were very conveniently places. They were so clean. I had site 15 it was just perfect. I love the beach area and the fact it has a play ground for kids an swings in the shade for us old foggy. All and all I love this area.

We were in spot 14, directly behind the bathrooms. Great spot, nice clean showers. Weak cell phone service on AT&T. We enjoyed our stay and will probably stay here again.

The app showed all the sites full, so we were unable to change sites when I arrived. However, most of the sites were never occupied, and a few of us were all crowded together for a couple days. The campground is pretty nice, but it didnt seem quite as well kept as it was when I camped there about 15 years ago. Its conveniently close to the Iron Mountains Bike trails, so thats a huge plus.

Lovely, peaceful place to spend time in the fall. I arrived right before opening day of deer hunting season and I was worried about crowds and noise. It did get busier but the hunters tend to leave early in the day and are gone most of the day so the campground remained quiet. The campground itself is on a peninsula so you are surrounded by water. Sites are spacious and well equipped (concrete pad, concrete picnic bench area, firepit, and pedestal charcoal grill.) Clean restroom facilities.

Our experience on a bicycle tour was Excellent for tent camping. There was wood at many of the campsites and the shower house was clean. The power station toward the entrance to the camp was not making any noise until the the morning when we were leaving. This is a nice site for tent or RV camping on Lake DeGray.

We loved it so much we added two days halfway through our 6-day reservation. Beautiful spot, and we saw herons and egrets every day (along with jillions of turkey vultures).
