This was a great stop on our way up to Glacier NP from Southern CA. Our site had a nice view of the river/canyon and sunrise. Our site was very quiet and peaceful except for the wind that was constatnly blowing. We will stay here again.

Lovely spot, just off the freeway but feels like youre away from it all. Short walk to the river, easy to check in.

Its a very scenic campsite. There is a short hike to the river, which was neat. Its a very convenient location next to the 15 freeway. Despite being close to the freeway, the campsite was quiet.

Very nice place to stay with amazing atmosphere! We stayed for one night as this spot was perfectly located between two of our roadtrip stops (Zion National Park - Las Vegas), very close to the interstate road.The payment is completely cashless - the digital payment works via the Recreation.gov app. The instructions are pretty good for that. We had no problem at all with noise from the road. There were different shapes of parking/camping spots for parallel or straight parking. There is plenty of space available with a lower and upper camparea. I would bet one could always find a spot - and if not a single spot, there might be the chance to share a spot with anybody else for a night. Restrooms were okay and there was a drinkwater fountain. Fire pits, standing grills and picnic tables available.One could see a poster which announced that the bureau of land management (provider) thinks about raising the prices. For us it was still 8$ for the night (+1$ payment fee). Their proposed (future) prices were: day use 6$, overnight RV and tent camping 22$, group overnight camping 42$.Maybe we just did not find it, but there was no RV dump station.All in all, great place to stay!

Great place for a nights stop on the way to Zion/Bryce NP.

I often stop here on my way down to Las Vegas for business or camping. Its a great stop and it feels safe. Its a nice hike down to the river and with the senior discount. Its a pretty inexpensive. Stay will use it.

It's unbelievable that you can get a campsite here for eight dollars. Very nice campground with a great view. Depending on where you stand, you can hardly hear the highway. The bathrooms were basic and had lots of dead insects. We were passing through and only there for one night, so it didn't bother us much. We would definitely recommend it.

Quite a bit of freeway noise, but nice that you can walk down to the Virgin River.

Convenient location right off the highway. Traffic sound audible, but more like white noise.Campground is clean and well kept with flush toilets and running water. Alas no showers. Great bargain for such a nice campground.

Beautiful area. The upper loop is behind a hill with no freeway noise. One gripe no fee box. Digital payment only! PROBLEM no cell service! Several campers with various cell services walking around camp looking for cell service. Surely some one should have checked that out before the policy change. Most people camped in a vacant site and waited for a ranger who never showed up.

Great stop and found plenty of first come sites that were acceptable for our 31 trailer. Bathrooms very clean, outer loop much quieter than one closer to highway. Nice hill e down to the Virgin River.
@TimothyC204641 · Camped on Apr 20, 2024 at Campsite #54
The campground was very easy to access from I-15 and entrance was clear and manageable even for our long RV. Once we figured out the site signage we could quickly select a vacant site and payment of fee was easy with the app and QR code. Such a beautiful site and hand to have bathrooms available as well. Definitely looking forward to another return.

We had a good experience. We stayed for 2 nights on a Sunday and Monday and slept in a tent. The campsite 92 has a great setting with wonderful views of the river gorge. Also a short hike down to the river and trails from the site. There are a couple of good flat areas in the campsite if your going to pitch a tent. Use upgraded tent stakes that hold to anchor your tent. It does get breezy in the gorge with some big wind gusts on and off throughout the day. The bathrooms were clean and acceptable. There is some traffic noise from the highway but also the sound of the river running. Overall the campground was quiet and peaceful. I will definitely be returning.

This site is fantastic if you are in an RV or travel trailer. Pretty views, easy access to hiking trails and the stars are stunning at night. Facility is kept clean and well maintained. However this is not a great site for tent camping. No privacy, wind gusts in the gorge are rough, very rocky terrain and the tent pads are very small.

Highway traffic can be heard into the night. Good short hikes available.

Beautiful. Quiet. Clean. There is plenty of room for parking our 30ft RV. Bathrooms are clean with drinkable water and cooled with AC units when it's hot outside. Our site had the built shade cover and fire ring for a campfire or if you decide to cook it has nice fire crate attached to it. Trails nearby down to the Virgin River so the kids can swim and play.

Beautiful area! Thankful for paved roads and sites when it rained. Long pull-outs for our 40' Class A and tow (except the ones with medians are tight). Not far from St. George and Snow Canyon State Park (40 minutes). Very reasonable price, but no services except garbage and bathrooms.

As usual the same problems with Scan and Pay, spot selection not accurate resulting in "vandalism" against scan and pay receipt. BLM St Georgeand recreation.gov is placing the camper in harms way. Do not implement a procedure not is not been enforced. None of my emails regarding theScan and Pay problems have been answered. You are basically pleading "No Contest" because of self incrimination.It is truly regrettable that the only known "procedure" is the "gun to the head" tactic !!!!!!!!Sincerely,Dan Gramatic

Excellent campground with nice views. Some highway noise, but not enough to bother our sleep. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. Good cell service. Would definitely come back.
@MaryBeth7BE790 · Camped on Mar 24, 2024 at Campsite #54
Very little hiking in the area. Windy. Only a single toilet in the bathroom. FFFS sites are tiny - only large enough for a camper van or a tent. You MUST reserve in advance to get one of the larger pull through sites. Good for an overnight, but not worth staying any longer.

Loved it so much we extended our stay.
@NikolasT2D7A34 · Camped on Mar 16, 2024 at Campsite #34
Pull through site was a little tight for our 24 ft trailer+ Tow vehicle. Otherwise paved sites are nice and mostly flat. Hike to the river was a bonus. View of surrounding area delightful. Little noise from interstate did not bother us on upper loop. Great stopover on the way to Zion.
@Patricia723739 · Camped on Mar 11, 2024 at Campsite #25
This is a cash free campground, QR codes to pay. But there is no cell service. WTF? Also flush toilets but no water for campers. WTF? Views were great.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
