I don't have much to review really because I only spent the night. It was nice. It was close to the freeway and for me that was a good thing.

Got in late and left early for a single overnight stay. The place seemed full but mostly quiet.

The site we chose for our one night stay was level with access to restroom facilities and a garbage dumpster onsite for a very reasonable price . Views of the freeway but not a lot of traffic noise. Breathtaking views and a series of hiking trails from the campground. Will be returning to further explore the area.

This is a very pretty area! I stayed at campsite 92 right by the river and it was so fun and easy to walk down there and explore. It also wasn't too crowded which was really nice. The bathrooms did get a little gross though, but there was running water. The drinking fountain water wasn't great though, and we ended up just buying bottled water.

Love the hiking trails

Wow. Hidden gem! Can't believe such a scenic, inexpensive campsite is right off the highway like this. Love how you can just pull your RV aside into your spot, too, with no need to reverse. Only reason for 4 out of 5 is the signage to direct you to your site could be much better. We got confused because our reservation was labeled "upper loop" but the signage did not reflect this. I was finally able to find our site by looking at the map posted by the entrance, as there were no signs pointing you to site numbers etc. and the other "loop" appears to be only for day use.

Great site, easy pull up right from the highway. Paved camp spot in-between vegas area and st george area. Optimized for rv or van, but tent camping is still possible. Make sure to hike down to the river at some point. The hike is quick, and the river is impressive from up close. I didnt hear any road noise from this site, even though I could see the road.

Perfect spot for winter camping!

Such a nice location and tremendous scenery. Having a host on site would help for sure at least for water and garbage management.

The QR system is not the best for everyone. Maybe you would like a few days away from your smart phone? Why can't they accept cash? Hard to do QR codes at all at night... other than that it is a great stop over at a great price

The most beautiful campground I've ever stayed at. Camp host stopped by and was very friendly and welcoming. Even got some great photos of a herd of Bighorn Sheep on the ridge across from my campsite.

My senior pass was not accepted at time of payment for unknown reason. All info provided was correct. Camp host did his best to help and gave me the local office number to contact the next day for further assistance. I called, was assured Id get a call back but they never called back. This all took lot of time and emotional strife and prevented quality time to enjoy the area. We have been to this campground several times before without incident. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Love the payment method for this area that is out of cell range. It has well maintained and clean restrooms, lots of nice campsites and good trail access to the surrounding area. It's also located in a convenient area between other state and federal campgrounds.

Nice campground and scenery of the canyon & river. Short easy trail down to the river. Restroom was dirty/stinky though.

This campground is a perfect stopover when traveling along I-15. It is quiet with some spectacular views along the Virgin River Gorge, and the sites are mostly easy to pull into and set up quickly after a long day on the road. The only negative we found was that the water spigots were all turned off without any notification on recreation.gov nor was it posted anywhere in the campground. Luckily we knew we were entering desert territory and came prepared.

Excellent spot to camp during the winter! Not too cold and close to both St George and Mesquite.

I always enjoy my time at your campground. The only issue I have is I was charged for Upper loop,site 54 I believe. I was at lower loop,#100.i didn't even notice it chargedme for the wrong spot until I left.

I enjoyed my visit to the campground. It was quiet,peaceful for the most part. Lot's of barking dogs. Restrooms were clean, but ran out of toilet paper for the last couple of days I was there. But I carry my own. Having access to fresh water is nice. I'll visit again soon.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
