Great spot to get away from the city without having to drive to far. Fall leaves around Creek were great. Only negative was whomever is supposed to do trash service and refill bathroom toilet paper had not been there so all the trash cans were full and overflowing and toilet paper was out. We had small group and brought our own so it worked out

We enjoy using this spot for our church group every spring at Seven Springs Group Campground.

Took some Cub Scouts up in early March. Awesome spot, but really tough to judge the forecast (important with little kids). Nighttime lows were 8-10 degrees lower than expected. Still had a great time with daytime highs of 70, but lows almost got down to freezing.

Great campground for a group up to 150 people. It is right next to Seven Springs Creek which was flowing due to Spring storms prior to us being there. There were hiking trails across the creek and no-one wished to get their shoes wet so we all stayed in the campground. Great ramadas for potlucks. Vault toilets. NO water. We brought our own. Plenty of room to spread out. Our group intends to make this an annual campout.

Nice roomy shaded sites big enough for small trailer/RV. Love the big ramadas and food prep area. Had a visit from a two year old filly from the neighboring ranch! We hiked the Cave Creek Trail #4 2.5 miles in to the Cave Creek Pools and then across the creek another 100 yards to the crested saguaro!

Such a beautiful campground. We loved the privacy of this location. We will definitely come back again. There is no cell service, and I wouldn't recommend driving the road alone or at night.

awesome , everything about it was great except for the trash from the previous campers. we cleaned up the whole area and bagged the trash. just hope they picked it up before the next party arrived.

Site was very clean. Lots of room for everyone, and the common area is top shelf. It's definitely a hidden gem, and we will be returning. I would recommend that once your group is in you keep the main gate closed as some people who weren't staying with us decided it was ok driving through the camp during the night. But other than that, perfect.

Great communication from staff. No problem with lock at gate. Clean restrooms. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and amenities. Only drawback is the dispersed camping spot to the north of the group campground. The people there were loud and kept hopping the fence to use our vault toilets.

It was very easy to access. The Gate code emailed when I booked the reservation was correct. Pretty nice facilities for camping with a large group. Overall it worked really well for our group of about 40 people.

The site itself looked great, it did have restrooms and was more than big enough to fit a large group, it has what it the description says it has. The 2 star review is for the lack of communication from the rangers or the recreation website, we arrived to the find the gate locked up with 2 padlocks, we were only given the code to 1, the second padlock required a key. Prior to driving up, we gave the ranger station a call, the person who picked up the phone seemed surprised we were driving up there but they were cordial and let us know if we needed anything to give them a call. Not once during the conversation were we told about a second padlock. We drove up with a group 25 people to find us locked out of the site, maybe it was bad timing, who knows, regardless, the website should not allow reservations if the site was inaccessible or at least a heads up about the second lock. When we did drive down to cell reception, the ranger station phone number rang and rang, we left a message but how would I receive a call Back if we didn’t have reception. In any case, just do your homework ahead of time and make sure the gate is able to be opened for your reservation. Hopefully, none of this happens if you choose to reserve.

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
