Exceptionally clean and quiet campground. Nice camp host and staff. Sites well cared for and plenty of space. No cell service makes it the best!

We went with the family for 2 nights with 2 small children (5 and 1 years old). The road to the campsite is terrible, a strong serpentine for an hour. We all got seasick and vomited when we got there. The camping itself is normal. There is drinking water and clean toilets. But there is no convenient descent to the reservoir. We carried the children in our arms to the water, because there is a steep descent and huge boulders on the way to the lake. The shore is also rocky, it is impossible to lie down. So we also had to drag chairs for each family member. I definitely do not recommend this place for a trip with children.

The sites are well kept and fairly spacious throughout. The lake is beautiful and great for swimming, and kayaking. Not too much activity on the fishing side from the shore or out deeper. The Flush toilets were well stocked and frequently cleaned but were old and not super well maintained.

Beautiful, remote location. It was a bit warm, but a campsite nearer to the reservoir has plenty of breeze to cool things down. The bathrooms are good, with running water and flush toilets. The roads are big enough and straight enough to get small campers around it. We hiked the trail on the other side of the reservoir from one end to the next and back, an easy 5-6 mile hike. The hosts were great, too, very helpful and informative.

Restrooms were clean and accessible. We stayed at site 66 and 67 and both were level and near the bathroom. Closer to the water than expected but a bit of a hike down. Water was warm and great to paddleboard.

Campground mid week was 1/4 full and very quiet. The bathrooms are clean. There is potable water available.No cell signal T Mobile.The fishing was just OK averaging 1 fish per hour trolling.

What an amazing site! We were site 47 and were much closer to the water than we thought. The bathrooms were only a few feet away which was also a big plus! We couldnt find a general store nearby and there wasnt cell reception to look one up, so I would recommend stocking up on everything as much as possible. Other than that we had a great time! The lake was so clear and warm, the views were amazing and the weather was perfect.

We stayed in space 11. Its near the restrooms and the lake, you do have to walk a bit down to make it to the lake but it was a nice spot

This was my first experience, and I loved this place. I recommend it.

Lovely campsites, especially those on the lake side. No running water when we were camping (June 30 to July 3, 2024), vault toilets were very dirty for two of our three days.

This review do not pertain to the campground itself, but this is concerning to the management. We reserved ahead of time to a campsite closer to the water, paid online and got the email confirmation. We're excited and drove for about 3 hours, only to find out that the particular campsite (#49) has been occupied. We brought it up to the "host" and he says that he let a walk-in campers occupy the site because he "says" that the list that was provided to him that day says #49 is available. If this is indeed true, then, a clear issue regarding the communication within the management. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN! we were very frustrated and I hope that this will not happen again.

Make sure you do your GPS planing before you lose service... we went down the wrong road as did many others. This place is beautiful but very difficult to get to the water. We went down near the 70s sites and we went down where we were which was #37. The weekends are mad houses here. Lots of kids. Which we don't really care for (dont have any ourselfs) . The chipmunks are the absolute worst. Worse then a bear in my opinion. They want anything with a scent on it.. we had all food in bear box. Bf brought ONE PEACH onto the tent and they chewed holes for the dang peach. Not many hiking trails around either. We explored other sites around us and will be checking out the ones near by first.

Forest service personnel came by to empty the trash containers regularly, the site was mostly clean (a bit of trash but I attribute to the previous tenants) and quiet. Nice facility. Pit toilets were clean also.

Wow! By far our favorite campgrounds! Easy walking range to the water, lots of shady campsites. The downside— a bathroom unit was out of order and TP 🧻 shortage was real! Don’t forget to bring your own!

Beautiful place. Not all sites have nice views and water access.
@SarahC1505024 · Camped on Jul 6, 2023 at Campsite #50
Amazing. Simply amazing location. The water level has recovered significantly from what I can see in past photos. Site has access to water. Nice for older kids to swim and play while we cooked. Amazing site to watch the sunset. Best spot in the camp, in my opinion.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
